So please do forgive me for not updating more regularly.  My goodness how busy I have been.  Not sure where to even begin anymore. 

After having such a wonderful trip with my hubby a few months ago I came home to find business is growing by leaps and bounds.  Not complaining mind you,  just wasn't prepared better for the holiday's.  I bet I am next year though.   

I have been taking part in so many online holiday virtual vendor fairs that I don't have time to breath.  haha.  I will be doing a virtual tour of my website on Dec. 6th and would love for everyone to attend.  I will take you on a tour, speak with you and answer any questions you may have.  This is going to be so much fun.  I am planning a big scavenger hunt on my site for a huge prize.  So make plans to attend and ask questions and take part in the hunt.  You can find me on that day at: http://womenbizowners.org/edu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=330&Itemid=140 and my time slot is from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm.  Check out the link and read all about all of the wonderful vendors taking part.  This event lasts all day long and many prizes will be given out, tours shown and how can you beat being able to shop in your pj's?

What a trip it was.  We left on Tuesday the 4th and returned home on Tuesday the 11th.  Or at least I returned home, jerry is still out working.  I can now honestly say I know how hard and stressful my husbands job really is.  I also will never ask him to eat out again when coming in off the road.  As he does this all the time.  lol.  I most definetly will not ask him to drive and run errands either.  As he does this constantly without much of a break.  All in all the trip was wonderful.  I got to see a lot of God's country that I have never seen before and the large majority of it is beautiful and breathtaking.  We traveled through Tennessee, Virginia, W. Virginia, Maryland, PA and New Jersey.  I apoligize in advance for this, but, PA and New Jersey (inside the city) are awfully ugly.  At least the parts we were in.  This southern belle felt completely out of place and it was so unlike where I live.  I have never seen row houses before so those were interesting.  I was stunned to see that what they call a front yard is what we call our flower bed.    I guess it all depends on what and where you grew up.  Parts of it were beautiful though.  I loved all the old barns and silo's I seen while traveling through the state of PA.  Virginia was gorgeous.  I asked Jerry when we could move there.  lol.  It took my breath away it was so pretty.  Alas though we won't be moving anytime soon.  lol.  I took over 300 pictures while gone and got home to upload them on the computer and did not have a single one.  Somehow they were all erased.  I cried over it.  Oh, I also got to see the ocean for the first time.  I would have loved to stop and just stuck my feet into it.  We traveled (only because jerry got lost) into the Hamptons and that was very pretty as well.  To bad I couldnt' stop for a cosmopolitan like the girls from Sex and the City.    The biggest downside of traveling with my hubby is his truck only has one bed.  Wouldn't be so terribly bad if it had been more than a twin size.  lol.  After one year of marriage I don't care to snuggle much anymore, at least that freaking close.  So neither of us slept much for the entire 8 nights.  Before i go back with him i told him he would have to have either bunk beds or a full size or this southern belle is staying home. 

I have lots to do around here this weekend.  I am so excited because I finally bought all the supplies to paint and completely redo my kitchen.  Besides painting I am also putting up a wall paper border, new curtains, all new decorations.  I will have to later on put in new floor covering and countertops.  But it will be done. 

Much to do so better get with it.

I have been up since 6 am this morning.  To excited to sleep and also sorta weirded out.  LOL.  Happy to be going with my husband out on the road for a week or so, but at the same time sorta scared about it.    I don't understand it.  Why am I scared?  Is it because that my hubby and I have not had alone time out somewhere (not just stuck here at home) in a long long time?  Is it because I think things may have changed?  I honestly don't know.  It just sort of came over me last night late.  Whatever it is I am going to do my best to ignore it and only think of how much fun we will have.  I know I will come home worn out and exhausted.  Reason being, their is only one bed in the truck.  Not a big deal you say as I sleep with my hubby when he is home.  lol.  yes this time it is.  The bed is a twin size.    We have not shared a twin size bed since we dated.  Then it was only when I came to stay the weekend with him.  lol.  I can just imagine how much sleep the two of us will be getting.  haha. 

I have been doing laundry to get everything all cleaned before packing.  Doing housework as well.  I hate coming home to a dirty house after being away.  I also am trying to get caught up on my business work.  I still have to finish some sample cards for approval. 

Well off to do more housework.  ughhh.  i hate it. 

So Southern Belle Invitations will be closed for one week starting tomorrow and might even be two weeks.  Only time will tell.  But don't fear I will return.
